Dragon No. 1
I tiled the image to make a large pattern and did some color variations. One being a copper version, seen in this tote bag and another, this purple version, seen in this pillow. The dragon becomes a surprise element not seen at first.
This painting began with some studies of a wee little metal dragon. Dragons are not to be messed with or taken lightly. This is my respectful offering to all the great dragons. Meanwhile, I am enamored of the yellow clouds and the granulation in this dragon.
